DMX Recites Verses From "The Bible" On The Street

DMX reads passages from "The Bible," reportedly to a fan, on the street.
DMX recited verses from The Bible to a fan on the street, according to tmz.com
DMX reportedly stopped to read passages from The Bible while outside of a restaurant because the fan told him she was "going through hard times," as per tmz.com.
DMX has included a prayer on each of his official studio releases, beginning with his 1998 debut album, Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood. DMX also performs these prayers in concerts.
X has also often referenced religion in his music, including the intro to "I Miss You," a selection from 2001's The Great Depression, where the rapper speaks about God.
"I know that my savior lives," DMX recites on the song. "And at the end, he will stand on this earth. My flesh may be destroyed, yet from this body, I will see God. Yes, I will see him for myself and I long for that moment."
TMZ released a video clip of DMX reading and speaking about The Bible verses on the street.
In July, DMX filed for bankruptcy. X's publicist, Domenick Nati, addressed the matter. "DMX's financial strains have been inhibiting his career for several years," Nati said in a statement to HipHopDX when this took place. "Poor financial management by prior representation have caused him to be ineligible to retain a passport. The purpose of this bankruptcy filing is for reorganization so he can perform for his fans oversees. We are currently planning a tour in Europe and Africa for the fall of 2013."
Also in August, DMX was filmed while streaking through a hotel hallway. The rapper later explained why he did this. “What do you mean what was I doing streaking?” DMX said to a TMZ rep. “I’ve got a big-ass dick and I like to show it.” X and his publicist have also said this was a dare.
Last month, DMX appeared on Dr. Phil. During the interview, X said he didn't regret any of his life decisions. “I wouldn’t redo anything ‘cause it got me right here where I’m at right now and I’m in a good place,” DMX said. “No regrets.”
