Eminem took to Twitter today to give one lucky fan a first look at the official artwork for his heavily anticipated album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2'. The fan (as probably most would have done) then decided to share the cover with the rest of world. Reminiscent of the cover for the first 'Marshall Mathers LP', Em takes us back to his childhood home in Detroit, which is now up for auction and boarded up. (Direct Lyrics)
Aside from his new "Survival" music video, Slim Shady recentlyreleased the visual for "Berzerk."
Eminem released a music video for his new single "Berzerk" this afternoon, and featured in the video is a slew of celebrity guests such as Kendrick Lamar, Rick Rubin, Slaughterhouse, and Kid Rock. In true Eminem style, he leads off his album with a fun kind of kooky single that may not even sound like anything else from the rest of the album. The exception was his last album, which led off with the serious and inspiring "Not Afraid." The video is even a classic look for Eminem as he goes back to his Slim Shady days where his hair was dyed blond. He brings back the familiar whiny and playful flow on the song. Recently Eminem's rapping has been a lot more aggressive. (Christian Post)
The Shady anthem premiered online over the summer via premium radio station Shade 45.
Eminem has shared "Berzerk", the aptly-named new single off The Marshall Mathers LP 2, his upcoming eighth studio album and the sequel to his 2000 album The Marhsall Mathers LP. Sampling Billy Squier's "The Stroke", the song harkens back to Em's early material when his tongue was pressed more firmly in his cheek, while also taking more than a few playful notes from Beastie Boys' songbook. "Berzerk" was premiered this evening on Eminem's Sirius/XM radio station Shade 45; listen to the studio version below (via RapRadar). It will be available to purchase digitally beginning Midnight Tuesday. (Consequence of Sound)
