: We don't know a whole lot about HIP HOP, but there's a popular producer named Jawan SNITCHING ON FOLKS on Twitter. According to him, a lot of rappers are broke, Trinidad James only got $80K for his hit song . . . and Meek Mill isn't dropping a new album.
Jaywan posted these tweets earlier today trying to explain music industry politics on his Twitter page. Some weirdo Mediatakeout employee who didn't have sh-t else to do posted the tweets on their website but if you're not in the music industry you're not going to understand anything Jaywan was tweeting about so let translate IN MY OWN WORDS.
JESSIE SPENCER TRANSLATION: "Rick Ross's label hasn't had a real hit song in over 2 years because everybody is getting tired of hearing Meek Mill screaming over every damn song. Their popularity is wanning. MMG is a boutique label. Rick Ross has no control over who puts out an album out or not. Those decisions are left up to the distribution company. Rocko is probably popular in Atlanta but he's not gonna put an album out on MMG anytime soon.
Trinidad James is a #1 hit wonder. That "Molly" song came out last year.
Meek Mill be doing too much g-ddamn yelling and sh-t.
And Rockie Fresh, Stalley, and Omarion are not dropping albums anytime soon.
