Rapper Guerilla Black  who rose to prominence back in 2004 because he sounded like the Notorious B.I.G. has been sentenced to 9 years in prison for credit card fraud.
The "Compton" rapper was arrested last year for purchasing stolen credit cards.
Reports Karen Civil:
This past Friday (Oct. 25), Guerilla Black was sentenced to over nine years in prison on charges of credit card fraud. Black, whose real name is Charles Tony Williamson, purchased and used thousands of credit card numbers that were stolen from businesses located in Seattle. US Attorney Jenny Durkan stated that the west coast rapper bought over 27,000 credit card numbers from a Maryland hacker, among other sources, between January 2011 and February 2012. Guerrilla Black was sentenced to 110 months in prison, once he is released he will have five years of supervised release.
Guess those rap checks dried up real quick when the jig was up for Black's rap talents. Coincidentally, at one time Guerilla Black was managed by Jimmy Henchman, who was recently sentenced to life in prison for cocaine trafficking.
